What is Camp Kouch?

 

Camp Kouch is an intimate music and arts gathering set in the woods, bringing together forward-thinking electronic music, immersive art, and community-driven experiences. Expect a weekend of music, creativity, and connection in nature.

When and where is Camp Kouch?

Camp Kouch takes place at Woodlands Nature Reserve, a private nature preserve located outside Charleston.

​

Exact dates, arrival times, and detailed travel instructions will be sent to ticket holders prior to the event.

How big is the festival?

​

Camp Kouch is intentionally limited capacity to create an intimate, community-focused experience.

​​

​

What are ticket tiers?

 

Tickets are released in tiered pricing. As each tier sells out, the next tier becomes available at a slightly higher price.

 

All tiers grant the same access.

Are tickets refundable?

 

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

 

Tickets may be transferred to another attendee if necessary.

Arrival & Check-In

​

When can I arrive?

​

Arrival windows will be communicated to ticket holders before the event. Daytime arrival is recommended so attendees can comfortably set up camp.

​

What do I need to enter the festival?

​

Please bring:

 

  • Your ticket QR code or confirmation

  • A valid government-issued ID

 

 

Camp Kouch is a 18+ event.

 

Will directions be sent before the event?

 

 

Yes. Detailed travel instructions will be sent to ticket holders prior to the event.

 

Because the venue is located on a nature preserve, GPS directions alone may not be reliable.

 

 

 

Camping

Can I camp?

 

Yes. Primitive tent camping is included with your ticket.

 

Attendees should bring their own camping equipment.

 

 

 

Are RVs or camper vans allowed?

​

Limited RV or camper van spaces may be available depending on site capacity. Details will be announced closer to the event.

​

 

Are campfires allowed?

 

 

Personal campfires are generally not permitted due to land management and safety

considerations.

What kind of music will be featured?

​

Camp Kouch highlights underground electronic music, including:

 

  • Freeform bass

  • Downtempo

  • Left-field dance music

Yes. The festival will feature immersive creative elements including:

Vendors & The Truck Stop

Will there be food vendors?

Yes. Several food vendors will be serving meals and snacks throughout the weekend.

What is The Truck Stop?

The Truck Stop is the Camp Kouch general store, offering essential items such as:

 

  • Water and drinks

  • Ice

  • Snacks

  • Camping basics

  • Toiletries

  • Camp Kouch merchandise

Parking

 

Is parking included?

​

NO, General parking is not included with your PASS. PARKING MUST BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY.

​

DAY PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE 

 

Parking may require a short walk to camping areas.

 

 

 

Accessibility & Medical

Is the event accessible?

​

Camp Kouch takes place on natural terrain including grass, wooded areas, and dirt paths. We will do our best to accommodate accessibility needs whenever possible.

Will there be medical staff?

 

Yes. Medical personnel will be on-site throughout the event.

​

​

Is harm reduction available?

​

Camp Kouch supports responsible participation and community care. Information about available harm reduction resources will be shared closer to the event.

Weather

What if it rains?

​

Camp Kouch is a rain or shine event.

 

Please prepare for outdoor conditions including rain, sun, mud, and cooler nighttime temperatures.

Leave No Trace

 

 

We ask all attendees to respect the land by following Leave No Trace principles:

 

  • Pack out what you pack in

  • Use designated trash areas

  • Respect wildlife and natural spaces

  • Large sound systems

  • DJ equipment without approval

Aerial Devices

  • Drones without prior approval

  • Illegal substances

  • Nitrous oxide tanks

  • Alcohol intended for resale

 

Other Restricted Items

  • Generators without approval

  • Laser pointers

  • Professional cameras without press credentials

  • Unauthorized vending

 

Event staff reserve the right to deny entry to any item deemed unsafe.

Consent must be clear, enthusiastic, and ongoing. Violations of consent will result in removal from the event.

Attendees must follow all instructions from festival staff, security, and medical teams.

 

 

Illegal Activity

 

Illegal activities are strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the festival without refund.

 

 

Reporting Issues

 

If you experience or witness unsafe behavior, please notify festival staff, security, or medical personnel immediately.

 

Camp Kouch reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates these policies.

Camp Kouch isn’t designed to feel like a massive commercial festival. Think of it more like a community gathering in the woods, where the people attending help shape the energy of the experience.

Getting to Camp Kouch

​

Camp Kouch takes place at Woodlands Nature Reserve, located outside Charleston.

​​

Flying In​

 

The closest airport is:

Charleston International Airport

 

From the airport, the venue is roughly 45–60 minutes by car depending on traffic.

 

Rental cars and rideshare services are available at the airport.

Driving

​

Charleston is easily accessible by several major highways including:

 

  • I-26

  • US-17

  • I-95 (via connecting routes)

​

Exact directions will be sent to ticket holders before the festival.

​

​

Ridesharing & Carpooling

​

We strongly encourage carpooling to reduce traffic and environmental impact.

 

Many attendees coordinate rides through social groups and community channels leading up to the event.
